Dark Day Glass- Stained glass by Cat

Updated September 2, 2025

Thank you for supporting my stained glass art! Each piece I make is handcrafted with care, and no two will ever be the same. By purchasing or commissiong work from me, you agree to the terms below, which are designed to protect both of us and keep the creative process enjoyable.

1. Creative Freedom and Artistic style

Its important to know your artist style, and trust their eye. Every stained glass piece is unique, with it's own textures, colors, and character.

While I will always do my best to bring your vision to life, please understand that stained glass is an art form.

As the artist, I may make design adjustments when needed or as I see fit, and I reserve the the final creative decison on all pieces, without your consent.

Inspiration photos and ideas are welcome, but exact copies are not guaranteed.

I reserve the right to make pattern design changes, glass color/texture changes, patina color changes or any changes at anytime in the process when needed, or I see fit. For example, a paticular color may be discussed during the design phase, but once that color is cut It may not look as great as originally thought. A lot of the glass I use is vintage and can be hard to source. Sometimes pieces are damaged during the making and I may need to select a different glass.
Please trust my eye. Each piece is a reflection of myself and my art.

2. Custom orders and commissions

A non refundable deposit of $150 is required to begin custom work. This pays for my time creating your personal pattern.

Once the mockup pattern is completed, and you approve, the remaining balance must be paid in full within 3 days.

Once a mockup is completed, that is when we can discuss any changes to be made. Once glass is being cut, no changes will be made.

Please understand that mockups are created on my ipad and in no way represent true glass colors or textures. This is meant to give you a general idea.

Timelines vary depending on size, complexity, and material availability. Please allow for flexibility

3. Payment and pricing

Prices may change as material costs change, but your price will be locked in once your order is confirmed and deposit made.

Taxes and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.

4. Shipping and delivery

I package each piece with extreme care, but because glass is fragile and delivery carriers dont give a damn, I cannot guarantee against damage once it leaves my hands. If your item arrives damaged, you must send me a photo within 24 hours of delivery and I will replace your item, I may ask that you mail it back to me(I will pay for shipping) or I will remake it. At no time will a refund be given.

Shipping insurance does not cover glass.

Please note that I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Each piece takes me anywhere from 8-24 hours to create and as a small buisness owner, I do not have the resources to be responsible for the shipping services lack of care.

5. Returns and refunds

Because every piece is handcrafted and custom, all sales are final.

I reserve the right to terminate service at any time in the process, for any reason. Should I feel the need to end our partnership, I will refund you all monies paid.
