Stained glass care

Please handle with the utmost care. Your stained glass piece may feel sturdy, but it is fragile and can break very easily.  If you want to extend the life of your piece, indoor use is the best.

Please do not use suction cups to hang your suncatchers. Always hang from a screw or nail.

For self standing pieces, they are not safe from falling over 100%. If you have  pets, especially cats, a bump could knock them over. Please keep your new stained glass away from pets and children.

It is normal for your new stained glass piece to have flaws or scratches on the glass. Alot of glass used is vintage and has been around for years. Also this isnt AI. These pieces are handmade....and with lots of love!

How to clean
Use a soft microfiber cloth to wipe away dust. Do not use any abrasive cleaners such as windex.  If absoulutly needed, you can use dawn dish soap and water, making sure you dry it off immediately after washing. Please limit water contact as much as possible.

Waxing/polishing
Your stained glass piece comes polished and waxed. For touchup, I use Pledge furniture polish in the yellow can. You can also use carnauba car wax. Keeping your piece waxed slows down the oxidization process, which is natural. Gently rub the entire piece, including the solder lines with a soft mibrofiber cloth after applying your polish until it's nice and shiny!
